As a school, we have worked with Tailored Education for the last 6 years.  We collaborate with them on numerous projects such as work experience, careers days and alternative provision placements and they really do what their name suggests, which is to tailor their programme and provision to the needs of the individual school or group of students.

This was after a period of time working with other providers who I found to be unsuitable and not really interested in student needs. The staff are approachable, friendly and can deal with any issues promptly and fairly. They contact school regularly with any issues and have a great understanding if the whole vocational provision and placing the students correctly. I would have no hesitation with them placing any of our students on extended and have had many students who have been really motivated post 16 after finding a placement with them. Worth every penny! 

We worked with Tailored Education to provide a work experience placement in our coffee shop. The student placed with us was excellent and engaged well with the customers. As a manager, I think this is a great way to link businesses with education and give students a taster of being in the workplace, and I would recommend Tailored Education to other businesses.

Tailored Education have years of experience in successfully linking schools and businesses. The events that we have been invited to have been very professionally run and certainly very enjoyable. Alison and her team offer valuable support and an efficient liaison and organisation service, we have been very pleased to be a part of several successful school projects as a result, helping us to raise awareness of Blue Cross and deliver our education programme.

We have been working in partnership with Tailored Education now for many years to provide our students with valuable opportunities to take part in Work Experience. Having access to a database of potential employers has enabled our students to search and select suitable employers within their local region. The system is very student friendly and provides easy access to information.

We have been able to deliver many successful work experience programmes due to the support from Tailored Education and feel extremely satisfied that the company takes care of all health and safety checks, ensuring students are safe in the work place and that companies have structured procedures in place for welcoming students onto work placements. 

They are able to design specifically tailored programmes to suit the needs of all students and have designed a Work Ready Programme for a small cohort of our students who have required a more personalised programme for Work Experience. Thank you for your continued support and professionalism.  

I am a recipient of a Hearing Dog and a volunteer Speaker for the Charity “Hearing Dogs for Deaf People”. In the last few years I have been invited by Tailored Education to talk about my experience of deafness and how an assistance Hearing Dog helps me in my everyday life. The talks have been well received by the students who are very enthusiastic when they meet my dog. Tailored Education always make a generous donation to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Tailored Education is a fantastic resource for us as a school. It creates the opportunity for pupils to experience life beyond the walls of school. Traditional education isn’t suited for everyone. All of our pupils who have been on a placement have gained a range of skills that will last them long after they leave full time education. It has also led to some pupils gaining an apprenticeship and the possibility of a career.

As an alternative provision they are fantastic at what they do. Their network of companies and experience makes the whole process a really easy and productive process. I have recommended Tailored Education to other establishments and will continue to do so.

Tailored Education really are amazing! They are very professional, work to a high standard and are very easy to work with. Communication is second to none and any problems were solved with no hesitation. We also used Tailored Education for a work ready group for some of our most vunerable students, who loved this and were very excited to tell others what they had been doing all week. Again fantastic, supportive staff.

Being a small company, we didn't know how well it would work for us and the pupils, but I can say it was a great experience for both.
